It’s pulse slow and bright comin’ from the beacon radio tower tonight.
I’ve felt the pain of it’s people who laid their souls down to die
Crushed beneath the wheels of beauracracy w/o ever lifting an eye.And it’s been many years with generations long gone bye—ee—eye—ee--eye
With hand me down dysfunction, desperate measures and bold face lies.
It’s time we picked up the positive piece and try.Now I believe in transition don’t get me wrong
I believe in the evolution of our souls but I don’t think it should take quite so long.
We all know the fundamentals of life and even the golden rule
But once you’ve failed to honor people sure as hell they’re gonna fail to honor you.And it’s been many years with generations long gone bye
