Drums My musical journey began in the great state of Arizona. Early on I played in some of the most popular rock bands in the Phoenix area. I recorded and performed with progressive grunge rockers, Tyrant, Beggars Reign, Hydra and the Gods of fusion (Lance Alfred and JR were the Gods, I was just trying to learn how to play in 7/8 5/4 and 9). The highlight of my AZ experience was to record and play with guitarist Michael Bruce who co wrote the Schools out and Billion dollar babies album for Alice Cooper. I moved back to upstate New York and soon embarked on whirlwind tour of the New England club circuit. Playing and singing with bands SINEMA, Talk Show and T.E.A.R.S, The English American Rock Show. |

| To keep my creative urges at bay, I began writing and recording songs as the drummer and singer for the first incarnation of the mighty White August and The Burning Cage. Between the two bands we recorded over 50 original songs. During this time I also was banging out the local club scene backing up one of the rising stars of the capitol district Beverly Luce of the now legendary VIVID. I even had the honor of being chosen as the house drummer for the North East country music awards show for 4 years in a row. Over the past few years I have been playing in my cover band The Hit Men and subbing out with a ton of local bands. As a “hired gun” I have had the privilege of recording and performing with some of the area’s best. Rockers; Vivid, Ten Year Vamp, Outta Hand and Thirst and Howell. Country bands; Aged in the Hills, The Back 40 Band and Rocking Horse. Dance party bands; Lois and the Kryptonites, The Space Monkees and the Blues House Rockers. I have performed with local Blues legends Joe Roy Jackson and Scotty Mack and the master of soul and groove, Garland Nelson and Soul Session. I have also backed up singer songwriters like Jonathan Newell, Charlie Brennan and Jim O’Brien of Kid Bludo. The one thing that never ceases to amaze me is the level and variety of talent here in upstate New York. It’s been a great ride and many thanks to all the talented people I have been able to work with. | |
